Mindspeed, AudioCodes report record results

Semiconductor manufacturer Mindspeed and VoIP hardware manufacturer AudioCodes announced their 4Q and 3Q results respectively.
Mindspeed, whose products include VoIP processors, reported record quarterly revenues of over $51 million, up 52 percent from the same time last year, with non-GAAP gross margins of $38.3 million. Excluding patent sales, revenues from multiservice VoIP processor solutions increased 11 percent sequentially and contributed 39 percent of total 4QFY08 product revenues. However, the company is expecting 1QFY09 revenues to be down 6 to 14 percent from 4Q08, between $33.6 and $36.8 million.
AudioCodes reported $46.6 million in revenues, a rise of over 15 percent in year over year. GAPP net income increased to $3.2 million, and non-GAAP income increased over 72 percent to $4.8 million. In conjunction with its growth and profitability, the company announced an initiative for high definition (HD) VoIP.
