Indonesia Conglomerate Gets UC
The Bosowa Corporation has received a unified communications
solution from Nortel and Microsoft to service more than 5,000 employees across
30 subsidiaries across the country.
Bosowa started off as a Mitsubishi dealer and has grown into
a conglomerate with businesses including car retailing, infrastructure
development, financial services and project management in the engineering and
construction industries. The company is implementing a joint solution from
Nortel and Microsoft that includes Nortel’s CS1000 running Microsoft OCS 2007
and Microsoft Exchange 2007.
Benefits cited from the solution include faster
decision-making, better business-critical processes and enhanced collaboration
for the growing number of Bosowa staff spending time out of the office. Mobile
workers and distributed offices mean more people traveling for the company and
a need to bring them together regardless of where they are at on any given day.
